In The Montgomery Biscuits, he slashed .253/.270/.389 in 23 games. After the seasonended, Lowe played in the Arizona Fall League and was chosen to participate at the Fall Stars Game. Lowe began his 2018 season playing for The Biscuits in addition to playing for The Durham Bulls of the Class AAA International League. Lowe was a student at Nansemond River High School located in Suffolk, Virginia, where he was a member of the team of the school’s baseball team. He was the captain who led Nansemond into a District title as a junior , and an overall district title when he was an senior. He was also selected to the first team all-state, first-team all region, and first-team all district that year. He enrolled at the University of Maryland, College Park to play baseball in college as a member of the Maryland Terrapins. A few days prior to the start of his freshman year Lowe injured his anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee. This led to him being forced to redshirt and missed the whole season. In his redshirt freshman year, Lowe was named third-team all-ACC, after being the top player for players from the Maryland Terrapins in batting average (.348) as well as the percentage of on base (.464) as well as slugging percent (.464).
