He was born in 1976 and established in 1976 the tiny press-publishing firm Jabberwocky Graphix, initially to print and distribute his personal comics and artwork, but it has since released the works of nearly 300 other artists around the globe. One of those Jabberwocky Graphix publications were some of the first minicomic-format books, which ranged from the basic 8-pager to the massive 325-page “One Year’s Worth”. In 1987-88 the artist wrote and sketched in four comic books Mechthings that were produced in 1988 by Renegade Press. In the beginning of 1990, He worked in Shadowhawk in the company of Jim Valentino at Image Comics. In the comic, he was identified within the credit pages with the title “Big-Background Artist”, which refers to his work in drawing and inking the larger and more intricate backgrounds only on a few select pages and panels instead of all over.
