Peacock began his 2010 season in Harrisburg and was also a member of Harrisburg’s Syracuse Chiefs of the Class AAA International League. After the 2012 season, the Athletics traded Peacock to the Houston Astros with Max Stassi and Chris Carter for Jed Lowrie and Fernando Rodriguez. He spent the entire season at the AAA level.

On the 23rd of December on the 23rd of December, 2011 Peacock was traded along with Tommy Milone, Derek Norris and A. J. Cole to the Oakland Athletics for Gio Gonzalez and Robert Gilliam. He played in the Sacramento River Cats of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League in 2012, but did not pitch in the major leagues with the Athletics.

The Washington Nationals selected Peacock in the 41st selection round of the 2005 Major League Baseball draft. They did not take the decision to sign Peacock however, but he retained the rights of an “draft-and-follow” player.
