Borys Lankosz (born 31 March 1973 in Cracow) – Polish film director. He graduated from the National Film School in Lodz. His debut film “Evolution” (2001) received several awards, i.a. it won the Golden Gate Award at the San Francisco International Film Festival. He is the producer for the series documentary From a Different Angle, that was shot at Iran, China and Zimbabwe as well as the film Kurc and Poles Poles (with Wislawa Szymborska, Stanislaw Lem, Krzysztof Penderecki).
Lankosz’s diploma film, which was a 2001 documentary called Evolution has been awarded an award at the 45th San Francisco International Film Festival along with different international as well as Polish festival of film.
