Borys Albertovich Filatov (Ukrainian: Boris Al’bertovich Filatov ; born 7 March 1972 at Dnipropetrovsk) is an Ukrainian journalist, politician as well as a lawyer, businessman and is the present City Mayor for Dnipro. In 2014 and in 2015, he was an elected participant in the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian Parliament of Ukraine.

The 2015 Ukrainian local elections, Filatov was elected as the Dnipropetrovsk Mayor (on the 15th of November, 2015). On November 24, 2015 Filatov was removed as a the parliamentarian.

On the 4th of March, 2014 He was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration on internal matters.

In comments section under the Dubinsky’s post with insults, Filatov threatened Dubinsky using foul language with mutilations to be inflicted once they meet and literally said that Benia’s (presumably Kolomoyskyi’s) security staff won’t save him. Moreover, Filatov published a post himself where he called (likely) Dubinsky a “Bearded Nana’s (a local nickname for Kolomoyskyi) sidekick”.
