Black Warrior is one of the most popular and richest Magazine who was born on January 7, 1969 in Torreón, Mexico. Jesus Toral Lopez (Born January 7th 1970) is known as a luchador, or professional wrestling champion who been working mostly in Mexico. Lopez has had the most success under the name of the ring Black Warrior. The most famous of his roles is his involvement in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) between 1995 and 2013. In the past, Black Warrior has played both the role of rudo (the Spanish term used for the wrestlers who are villains) and the tecnico (the Spanish term used for the heroes in wrestling).
After losing the trio’s the title Black Warrior had a hard finding a way to move forward and, at one point, he openly pleaded with CMLL to make him rudo through an interview with Box y Lucha magazine. In the beginning of 2006, Warrior started working alongside Mistico and the pair quickly got a chance to compete in an appearance at the CMLL World Tag Team Championship which was won in the presence of Averno along with Mephisto. In the 3rd fall in the game, Mistico accidentally collided with Black Warrior causing their team to lose. A few weeks later, in another match, Black Warrior turned on Mistico by attacking him throughout the match, and then walked out. The drama surrounding Mistico was made more intense after Black Warrior defeated Mistico for the NWA World Middleweight Championship on May 12 in 2006. In the midst of months of scripted conflict in the ring between Warrior and Mistico both fighters fought in the form of a Luchas de Apuestas (bet fight) mask versus mask contest during CMLL’s 73rd anniversary event. The contest witnessed Mistico take on Black Warrior, two falls to one, and win the mask of Black Warrior. In his first match of his professional career, Warrior has been forced to strip his mask and expose his face to the world. Following the demise of his mask, Black Warrior made several successful title defenses against Mistico before ultimately dropping his NWA World Middleweight Title back to the fighter on April 29, 2007. Following the dispute with Mistico was over, Black Warrior worked as an upper-card rudo, but not in any significant stories. In the latter part of 2007, Black Warrior became involved in an ongoing storyline in which Warrior along with Rey Bucanero team up to fight Shocker as well as Lizmark Jr. in a tag team Luchas de Apuestas with the hair of the team that lost in the balance. The 7th of December, 2007, Warrior and Bucanero lost and saw their heads cut completely bald due to the rules, during the event that was the highlight of CMLL’s pay per view Sin Piedad (Without Mercy).
After a draw between Sangre Azteca and Dragón Rojo Jr. the two began teaming together regularly and soon added Black Warrior as the third man to form a trio called Poder Mexica. The group saw mixed success around Mexico but remained undefeated in Arena Mexico, CMLL’s main venue, earning the group a shot at the Mexican National Trios Championship held by Sagrado, La Sombra, and Volador Jr.. Poder Mexicana won the title in their first attempt, defeating the champions on February 3, 2009. Shortly after winning the Championship Black warrior was suspended from working in Mexico City, forcing Poder Mexica to draft Misterioso, Jr. to take the place of Black Warrior when they worked in Mexico City, making him an unofficial a member of Poder Mexicana. In mid-April 2009 Warrior returned to Arena Mexico to reunite Poder Mexico.
On June 20, 2012, Black Warrior turned rudo and formed the Los Depredadores del Aire (“The Flying Predators”) stable with Mr. Águila and Volador Jr. Two days later, Los Depredadores del Aire defeated Los Reyes de la Atlantida (Atlantis, Delta, and Guerrero Maya Jr.) to win the Mexican National Trios Championship. They lost the title back to Los Reyes de la Atlantida on October 30, 2012.
In May 1996, Lopez changed his ring personas and again. He was “Black Warrior”, a bad guy (called the word “rudo” by Spanish) who joined forces together with Blue Panther, his brother Blue Panther and other Lagunero employees such as Dr. Wagner Jr.. The new look came success, for on October 15 Black Warrior defeated El Dandy to take home the NWA World Light Heavyweight Championship which was his first singles title. In 1997, Warrior, Panther, and Dr. Wagner Jr. nearly won their share of the CMLL World Trios Championship, however, they lost the finals to determine the new champions. Warrior briefly lost The NWA World Light Heavyweight Title after Shocker defeated his in May 1997, but returned it in March 1998. On the 18th of December 1998, the trio consisting of Warrior, Panther, and Wagner, Jr. finally took home the CMLL World Trios Championship after many attempts. They were defeated by Bestia Salvaje, Scorpio Jr. and Zumbido to claim the title that was vacant. The trio, who were dubbed Ola Lagunero, held the Trios title for more than 1140 days. On the 6th of March in the year 2000. Black Warrior lost the NWA World Light Heavyweight title to Tarzan Boy after a reign that lasted 727 days. The following months Black Warrior began to hear the cheers of the crowd, particularly because of his risky “Tope of death” move that he performed (high-speed jump out of the Ring). In 2001, Black Warrior entered the Leyenda de Plata (the silver legend) tournament, a rudo , but he was hearing how the fans cheered increasing and more. The semi-final match Warrior was up against Black Tiger III and the two wrestlers performed an “double turn” where Black Warrior was a popular fan (called”a tecnico” to Mexico) as Black Tiger III became a Rudo. Warrior took the title when he beat the previous year’s winner Negro Casas to claim the 2001 “Leyenda de Plata” trophy. On February 2, 2002 Ola Lagunero was able to take away the trio’s title after Panther and Wagner eliminated Black Warrior out of the group. On 17 March 2002, The new Ola Lagunero (Panther, Dr. Wagner Jr. along with Fuerza Guerrera) defeated Warrior, Mr. Niebla along with Antifaz del Norte in a contest for the vacant championship. Three months later, Warrior, Mr. Niebla and Atlantis took home the CMLL trio title from the newly formed Ola Lagunera. The trio was disqualified in at the end of March 2003, but Warrior was awarded it the following day, on June 9, 2004 together with El Canek and Rayo de Jalisco, Jr., and a reign of 133 days.

Lopez began his professional debut in the month of January in Gomez Palacio, Durango under the masked ringpersona “Destroyer”. In 1985, Lopez began his work as a wrestler for Empresa Mexicana de la Lucha Libre (EMLL which was later changed to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, CMLL) where he was a part of the team in the role of “Camorra”, another masked persona. He was a part of EMLL from 1985 to 1988 but was not able to achieve the same level of success. In 1988, he quit EMLL and became a member of the Universal Wrestling Association (UWA) which was EMLL’s primary Mexican competitor. There the wrestler was known as the La Mascara (Spanish meaning “the Mask”) for three years, but having limited results. In 1991, he was back with EMLL and was changed to CMLL which is where he had his first major break. Lopez was assigned the ring name that he was given by Bronze (Bronce) as well as joined together with the well-known team composed of Oro as well as Plata to create a trio known as Los Metalicos (the Metals). In a team together with Oro as well as Plata, Lopez won his first professional wrestling championship when they took home the Distrito Federal Trios Championship early in 1992. The trio won the title for more than one year until they were eliminated by the Los Guerreros of Futuro (Damain El Guerrero Guerrero Del Futuro, and Guerrero Maya). Then, CMLL booking manager Antonio Pena left CMLL to create his own promotion Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion (AAA) Lopez was one of the wrestlers who quit CMLL together with Pena. Pena was planning to get all three Metalicos but only Lopez was signed, and Pena ended up having to “repackage” him with a new ring name. From 1992 until 1995, Lopez was a part of AAA using various gimmicks like “Super Star”, “Dragon de Oro” (Golden Dragon), “Bali” and “Vegas”, but did not have the same level of success in the role of “Bronce”. In 1995, he was back with CMLL and signed a contract made by his uncle whom he wrestled with CMLL under the name of Blue Panther. Lopez changed his name to “Black Panther” and teamed with his uncle as well as others “Lagunero” area wrestlers laying the foundations for the group later to be referred to under the name “Ola Lagunero” (the Lagunero Wave).
Before taking on that “Black Warrior” ring persona, Lopez worked for almost 10 years in various ring personas, usually but with no success. The only ring persona he had worth mentioning was “Bronce” (Spanish for Bronze) in which he was member of the “Los Metalicos” team, an outfit that became popular in the early 1990s joining forces together with Oro or Plata. Lopez has the same name as Mano Negro, the Luchador Blue Panther, the son-in-law of Mano Negro, and the brother-in-law of Mano Negro Jr.
On July 10, 2009, Black Warrior teamed with No Limit (Naito and Yujiro) to defeat the team of Héctor Garza, Toscano, and Sagrado, After the match Black Warrior made a challenge on behalf of Yujiro for a “hair vs. hair” match with Garza. This led to all men being involved in a 15-man steel cage Luchas de Apuestas match at Infierno en el Ring that Naito won by pinning Toscano. After not teaming with the other members of Poder Mexica during mid-2009, Black Warrior left the group. Black Warrior’s feud with No Limit continued through the fall, leading to a Luchas de Apuesta, hair vs. hair match between Black Warrior and Yujiro on October 16, 2009, a match which Black Warrior lost and subsequently had his hair shaved off after the match.
