Harry Maessen introduced the BRL V6 series in 2004 when his daughter Barry was a part of the race, racing among the Ford Mondeo silhouettes. Maessen was able to score numerous top ten results in the highly competitive field. His first podium finish in the series came in the year 2010 after the category was added as an independent category within the Dutch Supercar Challenge. In 2011 and 2012, BRL V6 BRL V6 raced at the newly renovated Raceway Venray. Maessen continued to compete in the Dutch Supercar Challenge racing a Dodge Viper SRT10. Alongside Van Berlo Racing Maessen won five races and took home his place in the GT classification of the championship. Following a short season in 2013, Maessen became a member of Team Raceway Venray with their self- developed Vicora V8. Maessen helped the car win its first victory on the track at Circuit Zolder.
