He played in the NCAA football tournament in the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga after his transfer from Tennessee as well as the high school team in The McCallie School. He was chosen to the Green Bay Packers in the 7th round of the 2012 NFL Draft, 243rd overall. Coleman joined the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL) on the 25th of January, 2016.
