Artem Nikolayevich Yochmennikov (born on the 25th of February, 1983) is a ballet performer who is a soloist as well as a premiere in major theaters, such as the Bolshoi Theatre and Mariinsky Theatre.

In 2008, Yachmennikov went back to Russia. From 2008 to 2011, he appeared as the first soloist at Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. His mentor during this time was a highly regarded artist from Russia, Boris Akimov. At the Bolshoi He performed in numerous modern and classical ballets, including Les Sylphides (Poet), Symphony in C (George Balanchine), Serenade (George Balanchine) along with Russian Seasons (Alexei Ratmansky).

In 2010, Yachmennikov accepted an invitation from the San Francisco Ballet and performed there as a principal dancer from 2010 until 2011.

As of 2006 Yachmennikov was invited by the Dutch National Ballet and went to Amsterdam to be an principal dancer in the ballet. His instructors include Rinat Gizatulin, and Guillaume Graffin. At that period, Russian ballet legend, Natalia Makarova, came to the Dutch National Ballet to rehearse with the dancers. When she witnessed Yachmennikov’s performance as Solor as part of the dance La Bayadere, she recommended him to be a soloist in the ballet.
