Arkadiusz Jerzy “Arek” Onyszko (born 12 January 1974 in Lublin) is an Polish player who was a player as goalkeeper. The goalkeeper coach has worked at Motor Lublin since July of 2017.
After a difficult time within Denmark, Onyszko returned to Poland and signed a one-year deal in the club of Odra Wodzislaw on January 13 2010. The club finished at the bottom of their league this year and was relegated. Onyszko’s performance was impressive enough to secure him a two-year agreement for Polonia Warsaw, which he signed in May of 2010. In June of 2010, Onyszko discovered he had kidney malfunction.
Then, in June of 2009 Onyszko had been found guilty of allegations of assaulting his ex- wife. He was sentenced to three months of prison for which two months were suspended. His club terminated him that very day.

He started his career in 1989 at KS Lublinianka. He joined the club in 1998. was transferred into Viborg FF after a stint at Widzew Lodz, and established himself as Viborg’s top goalkeeper. After 2003, he moved into Odense Boldklub, where he continued for six years as the club’s primary preferred goalie. From 1998 to 2009 the player played 363 times within the Danish Superliga, which makes him the fifth most capped player, and the highest capped foreign player.
He was a part of the Polish national team that took home the silver medal in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.
On 6 January 2013, Onyszko had a kidney transplant in Szczecin.
