Antonio Jose Rodriguez Diaz (born 21 February 1992) is also is also known in the media as Antonio Puertas, is a Spanish footballer who is a player in the Spanish club Granada CF as a forward.
On the 14th of June, 2015 Puertas was made a part of the Rojiblancos main squad of the Segunda Division. The debut of his professional career came on the 9th of September when he was an extra in the second half in place of Jose Angel Pozo in a 3-3 Copa del Rey home draw against Elche CF (4-3 win on penalties).
Puertas began his career at the second league on the 11th of October, 2015, with a 1-1 draw with Girona FC. The first time he scored a professional goal on the 3rd of September of the same year, scoring his first goal in a 3-0 win at home in a 3-0 win against Rayo Vallecano; he added another one the following weekend in a 3-3 draw against Girona.

The birthplace of the family was Benahadux, Almeria, Andalusia, Puertas finished his formation with UD Almeria after having represented Los Molinos CF and Villarreal CF. His senior debut was as a member of Polideportivo Ejido in 2011, in Segunda Division B.
The 31st January of 2012 Puertas was transferred towards Granada CF, being assigned to reserve squads, following the dissolution of Poli Ejido. After scoring 10 goals in 2013-14, he joined another team in reserve, UD Almeria B also at the third level.
On 16 June 2017 Puertas returned to Granada, signing a three-year contract and being assigned to the main squad also in the second tier. He scored a career- best ten goals during the 2018–19 campaign, as his side achieved promotion to La Liga.
