Anthony Garotinho is one of the most popular and richest Politician who was born on April 18, 1960 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Anthony William Matheus de Oliveira (born 18 April 1960) Also called Anthony Garotinho, is a Brazilian politician as well as a radialist, who was convicted of committing felon. He was legally able to adopt the name of his character “Garotinho” (Little Boy in Portuguese) initially as an alias he used when working as a sports radio broadcaster.

Garotinho is also one of the most popular Brazilian evangelical political figures. Garotinho believes that he was born in the evangelical faith of Christian after a car accident in 1994. His wife is Rosinha Matheus. They have nine children, of which five of them are adopted.

He helped his wife Rosinha Matheus re-election campaign for governor of the state of Rio de Janeiro. She appointed Garotinho State secretary for Public Security.

An acclaimed radio anchorman who was a fan of amateur theater. Garotinho was a political activist through grassroots activism, registering with in the Brazilian Communist Party and helping to organize the sugar-cane worker union of Campos. He began his political career in 1982, putting himself forward as a candidate for a councilman’s seat from the town on the workers’ Party’s ticket, not being elected due to the fact that the list of candidates from the party did not reach the minimum number of votes needed to gain representative within the Municipal Chamber. Then afterward, he became a member of his party, the Democratic Labour Party (PDT) in 1986, and was elected to State Legislative (1986) and taking in the Campos mayoral elections in 1988.
