Caceres was a part of his A-League debut with the Central Coast Mariners in the F3 Derby against the Newcastle Jets which began with a scoreless draw January 2013. Caceres got his goal in the first game for his club in the same year later and two days later in the same match against the Jets in the F3 Derby, he made a run at the halfway point and scoring from outside the box to make it 3-0 in a 3-0 victory.
