As of 2000, Chausson increased her range by taking part in the duals event where athletes compete on separate courses consisting of the same obstacles, including the berms and jumps. It was a single-elimination competition, in the third season, in which it was held on level of the World Cup level, after that the 2000 edition of world championships included the event for the first-time; Chausson captured each crown winning each time ahead of American Tara Llanes. Chausson was a second time a participant in the duals competition in 2001, but was unable to earn a medal at the World Cup, won by Donovan however, she did win the world championship for the second time with the final duals championship, this time beating Australian Katrina Miller, the World Cup silver medallist.
