Anita Nall is one of the most popular and richest Swimmer who was born on July 21, 1976 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States. Nall was born from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 1976, Nall is named after the record- breaking gymnast Nadia Comaneci, who competed that year at the 1976 Summer Olympics when she was just 14 years old. When she was a teenager, Nall moved with her family to Towson, Maryland. She was a swimmer in the late 1980s and the early 90s in the North Baltimore Aquatic Club, the same location in which another Towson teenage swimmer, Michael Phelps, trained in the following decade and who was, like Nall had make a world record in swimming at the age of 15 (in the 200-meter butterfly).

Nall completed her studies at Towson Catholic High School in 1994. She then went on to earn an undergraduate degree in communications in addition to Spanish from Arizona State University, graduating in 2002. In 2002 she got married to the former University of Kansas football player Luke Richesson. They now reside in Denver, Colorado, where Luke is employed as the strength as well as conditioning coach of the Denver Broncos. The couple is blessed with two children: their son Luther (born in 2003) as well as daughter Sunny (born 2005). Nall has attributed her health issues to food sensitivities that affect her immune system. These were not recognized until 2005, along with inadequate nutrition. Nall is now a holistic nutritionist and certified Life Coach, with an own company.

Nadia Anita Louise Nall (born July 21st 1976) who is also known under her married name, Anita Nall-Richesson. She is an American former competitive athlete, Olympic champion, and the former world record holder. At the age of 16, in the 1992 Summer Olympics, Nall won gold in the women’s 4×100 meter medley relay as well as a silver medal for the 100-meter breaststroke for women, and bronze in the 200-meter breaststroke race for women. The year before she set the world record for the 200-meter breaststroke for women when she was just 15 years old, in the U.S. Olympic trials.

Nall’s forte during in the 1994 Summer Olympics was breaststroke. Nall was selected for an appearance on the U.S. Olympic team that year at the age of 15, one of the youngest athletes of the U.S. Olympics women’s team. Head coach for Northwestern’s women’s swimming team was quoted before the Olympics in 1992 as saying “Anita has technically a perfect breaststroke. The breaststroke is very much a lower body stroke where you really use your legs. She uses her body perfectly and gets the most out of her stroke technique-wise”. Nall was able to compete in the breaststroke part of the 4 100-meter Medley Relay at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and won the gold medal for the team and becoming the most youthful American swimmer to win gold in the swimming world since 1976.

The next year, Nall’s swimming faltered, attributed to chronic fatigue syndrome and blood pressure abnormalities. She retired from swimming in 2000, after failing to qualify for the 2000 U.S. Olympics team.
