Pippos earned an honours qualification of honours Politics from The University of Adelaide and began her career as a reporter and researcher for ABC Television in her hometown of Adelaide. After three years of working, she was enticed to join ABC news on television at Melbourne at the end of 1997 despite the fact that the position of sports reporter did not align with her ambitions to become an investigative journalist. Within a couple of months, she was hosting the sport segment on ABC News Victoria. ABC News Victoria desk on weekends before being elevated to weeknights along with Ian Henderson. She’s also appeared as a guest host at ABC Radio Melbourne, as an author of columns as well as a feature author for both The AFL Website and the Sunday Age.
