Christ has made her Senior Netherlands women’s national debut on 13 July 2009, in a victory of 3-2 against South Africa in Amsterdam. Christ was selected by coach Xavier de la Cruz to UEFA Women’s Euro 2009 in Finland as one of two backups to the first choice goalie Loes Geurts.
When she was playing for the previous club FC Utrecht she was twice named the best goalie in the Eredivisie in 2010, and in the year 2011. Prior to the foundation of Eredivisie was established in 2007 was awarded two Hoofdklasse titles in the Hoofdklasse competition with SV Saestum and had debuted in the top division when she was 14 years old, playing for ODC Boxtel in 2003-04.
On 24 November 2017, she played her 17th match for the national team against Slovakia in a 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualification match which the Netherlands won by 5–0, a few days later, she announced her retirement from the national team.
