Amanda Spratt (born 17 September 1987) is an Australian road cyclist who is currently a member of UCI Women’s WorldTeam Mitchelton Scott.
Her first race in the international circuit was in the 2004 World Junior Track Championships in the United States. She also competed in the 2004 Commonwealth Youth Games. She was a participant at the 2004 Junior Road World Championships in Italy. She was unable to participate in the majority of the 2009 cycling season due to an injury to her back. She was a participant at the 2010 UCI Road World Championships. She was eleventh at the 2011 Toscana Giro Femminile located in Italy. She placed fourth in the 2010 Sweden World Cup Teams time test held in Vargarda, Sweden. She was first in the 2010 Tour de Feminine Krasna Lipa in the Czech Republic. She was eighth at the race in 2011 for Women’s Tour of New Zealand. She was second in the race on roads, and fourth in the time trial for individuals in the 2012 Australia Road National Championships in Buninyong, Australia. She was second at 2012’s Jayco Bay Classic in Victoria, Australia. She placed fourth at the 2012 Ronde van Gelderland in the Netherlands. She was chosen for the team representing Australia during the 2012 Summer Olympics in the women’s road race. It was it was her debut Olympics. She was unable to finish within the time limitation.
In 2018, Spratt elected to forgo a debut senior Commonwealth Games representation for Australia on the Gold Coast, to focus on an Ardennes campaign in Europe. She achieved her first ever one-day podium at World Tour or World Cup level, with a third placing at the Amstel Gold Race in April. Then in May, she won her first Women’s World Tour race with a large enough leading margin to move up ten places on the final stage to also win the general classification at Emakumeen Euskal Bira.
