Alois Grussmann is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on September 6, 1964 in Opava, Moravian- Silesian Region, Czech Republic. Alois Grussmann, a Czech football manager and former forward, was born 6 September 1964. Between 1984 and 1991, he played in the Czechoslovak First League together with Vitkovice and Banik Ostrava. He then spent a season with Real Betis in Spain. Grussmann returned to Czechoslovakia and played primarily for Opava. He played five seasons in Czech First League. Grussmann was an international representative of Czechoslovakia, scoring one goal and winning six caps between 1988-1991.
Grussmann was Jakubcovice’s manager until November 2006. In December 2006, he was appointed Vitkovice’s manager. He was with the club until August 2008. After four consecutive losses in the 2008-09 season, he resigned.
Grussmann left the United States in 1991 to join fellow Spaniar Real Betis players Roman Kukleta and Michal Bilek. In 38 league games, he scored eight goals for the Spanish side. Grussmann returned to Czechoslovakia in his later years, where he played briefly for his old clubs Banik Ostrava (now Vitkovice) and Sigma Olomouc (now the Czechoslovak First League). Grussmann was a Czech First League player for five seasons. He played for Opava for the majority of those seasons. His best goal return occurred in 1996-97, when he scored 13 goals. Grussmann’s career ended with 304 appearances, 68 goals and top-league Czechoslovak football. Later, he played for Trinec in the second league.

Grussmann began playing club football in Czechoslovakia with Banik Ostrava. He joined Vitkovice in 1986. With Vitkovice, he played 148 Czechoslovak First League games and scored 30 goals. During this period, he participated in the European Cup as well as the UEFA Cup.
Grussmann, who had previously played for his country’s junior national teams made his debut for his full national team in April 1988 in a friendly against the USSR. In February 1991, he scored his first international senior goal with a 2-0 friendly victory against Australia. Grussmann participated in three UEFA Euro 1992 qualifying matches, but he didn’t represent his country again.
