Alison Davis-Blake, born November 5, 1958, is the eighth president at Bentley University. Prior to joining Bentley University, she was the dean of both the Carlson School of Management and the Ross School of Business at University of Michigan. Davis-Blake, who was first female dean of Ross School of Management, was also the highest-ranking female dean in any U.S. business school at the time she was appointed.
Davis-Blake earned her B.S. In 1979, Davis-Blake received her B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University. After her work at Touche Ross she received a M.O.B. In 1982, she received a M.O.B. from the University’s Marriott School of Management. She received her Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1986 in Organizational Behavior.
On February 14, 2011, it was announced that Davis-Blake would become the new Dean of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, succeeding Robert J. Dolan. Davis-Blake served as Dean from July 1, 2011, to July 1,
