Ziv Rubinstein Biography

Ziv Rubinstein is one of the most popular and richest Singer who was born on March 20, 1970 in Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv District, Israel. On the 1992 Israeli prime-time entertainment show The Entertainment Authority hosted by Dudu topaz, Ziv was challenged with a photo shoot in Los Angeles with Michelle Pfeiffer. Rubinstein returned one week later to the next show with a photo of himself and Michelle Pfeiffer. Two days later, it was discovered that Rubinstein was actually photographed with a cardboard cutout of Michelle Pfeiffer. He seemed to have known what the challenge would look like in advance. He wore a large hat to make himself stand out and get Dudu Topaz to select him. This incident was included in the list of greatest scandals and pranks in Israeli entertainment history at Ynet magazine and Globes magazine.

Rubinstein’s first poetry book, “Shira, Ahuvati”, was published in 2010.

Rubinstein recorded a duet in 2007 with Daphna Arimony, an Israeli singer. It was called “Rak Ohev”. The duet was selected song of the Week on Kol Yisrael Reshet Gimel radio station. Rubinstein began collaborating with Arkadi Duchin in 2008, and they co-wrote the duet “Havar Haze” (“That Thing”), performed by Sima Levi Duchin (Arkadi’s wife). In 2009, they released the children’s album Arkasha’s Friends. This album featured many Israeli artists, including Danny Litani, Idan Yaniv and Micky Kamm. The album was a Gold Album in Israel. Rubinstein’s song, “Ahavati Haasura”, was composed by Duchin in 2010. It was published in his poetry collection “Shira, Ahuvati”. Rubinstein and Duchin wrote a song in 2011 for Liran Tal, an Israeli singer. Rubinstein also wrote the song “Angel”, for Shlomi Shabat in 2008, and the song “Without You” which Shabat performed alongside Daphna Rechter. Rubinstein also wrote a song for Shlomi Shabat in 2010, “Vaani Shar” (“And I Sing”), which was later to become the mentor song on the first season “The Voice Israel.” Rubinstein also wrote many other songs for Shabat. Two songs by Rubinstein were composed by Nahum Heyman in 2012. They were performed by Yoni Schlsinger on Heyman’s last album, “Ani Mamshich Lashir”.

Rubinstein and Reuven Hayun founded “The Babies”, a band in 1998. Musically produced by Meir Israeli, the band released one album. Although the album did not achieve great sales, it was well received by Israel and performed throughout Israel. Rubinstein wrote the title song for Hapoel Tel Aviv F.C.’s 2000 soccer championship. The band performed at the Yarkon park championship celebrations. The band performed in Rabin Square at a national rally to promote youth road safety in 2002. The band’s drummers, Reuven Hayun, and Nir Segal, were replaced by Yovav Arvaham and Eyal Kolchel in 2004.
