Zan, a singer from Swedish rock/glam-metal who was born Bo Stagman on January 18, 1964, and was previously known as Bosse Belsen. He is currently the founder of Zan Clan and the frontman for reunited Easy Action.
In the 2000s, Zinny and Easy Action were reportedly finishing the recording of their new album. The title was Looking Up Your Old Address. In 2013, however, it was revealed that the Looking Up Your Old Address album wouldn’t be released as Easy Action had broken up with Kee, Zinny and other members.
In 2002, Zinny would record and release the solo album City Boy Blues which enjoyed moderate commercial and critical success in Scandinavia and earned distinction as the “Comeback Album of the Year” in the UK´s Classic Rock Magazine but failed to garner much attention in the U.S.
Shortly thereafter, Zinny would resurrect the Zan Clan with a new line up including producer/guitarist/songwriter friend Chris Laney. In 2005, the Zan Clan released the album We Are Zan Clan, Who The Fuck Are You in addition to opening a series of shows in Europe for Whitesnake and Queensrÿche.
Zinny returned to Stockholm after the split to calibrate, but due to personal issues (a divorce, death of his father and diagnosis of cancer in his sister, as well as his battle with stomach disease), it would take over four years for the release of Citizen of Wasteland in 1994. This album was credited to Zinny’s new band Zan Clan. It was not a huge success.

Zinny J. Zan is most well-known internationally for his role as the original lead vocalist of the 1980s glam rock band Shotgun Messiah (1985-1990). He was 18 when Easy Action (1981-1985) was formed in Sweden. They toured Scandinavia, and he signed a contract at Warner Bros. Records. Easy Action was the first Swedish artist to sign a worldwide contract.
The moderately successful album Shotgun Messiah spawned three popular singles, as well as two music videos that were made for MTV. It reached #52 on the American Billboard charts. Zinny left Shotgun Messiah in 1990 after creative and personality differences began to emerge between Tim, Harry and Zinny.
Zinny then signed a TV contract to be the Tour Manager and Mentor for a band called Tribal Ink for the TV show Wannabe in 2002.
