Zhang Chengxiang is one of the most popular and richest Chinese footballer who was born on January 25, 1989 in Guzhen, Anhui, China. Zhang Chengxiang is a Chinese footballer who plays as a forward for Heilongjiang Lava Spring in China League Two.

Zhang was transferred to Tianjin Locomotive, China League Two’s side in March 2015. In March 2016, he moved to China League Two side Heilongjiang Lava Spring.

Zhang Chenglin, his older brother Zhang Chenglin, and Changsha Ginde were relegated from the second-tier league at the end of 2010. He was not able to make a name for himself in the first team, and he played mostly in the reserve league. In 2012, he followed the club’s lead to Guizhou. He made his debut for Guizhou Renhe on 4 July 2012. Guizhou defeated Guangdong Sunray Cave by 2-0 at Guiyang Olympic Centre. Zhang, Wang Erzhuo, and Liao linkun were loaned to China League Two club Shaanxi laochenggen for the remainder of the season. This was in mid-July. As Shaanxi Laochenggen placed 4th in the North Group, Zhang scored 5 goals and was promoted to the play-offs stage. Shaanxi was defeated by Guizhou Zhicheng, 2-0, in the quarter-finals. He did not make it to China League One. Zhang’s loan agreement was extended by Shaanxi Laochenggen for one year in March 2013.

Zhang Chengxiang is the elder brother of Zhang Chenglin who is also a professional soccer player. They were together at Changsha Ginde from 2007 to 2010 and Guizhou Renhe from 2011 to 2014.

He was then promoted to the first team squad in 2007. Zhang made his Super League debut on 7 April 2007 in a 4-2 defeat against Shandong Luneng Taishan. He was substituted for Li Zhenhong in 80 minutes. Zhang was a substitute striker for Changsha Ginde, making just 26 appearances between 2007-2010. Zhang scored his first senior goal on the 14th of August 2010 against Tianjin Teda.
