Zdravko Lazarov is one of the most popular and richest Bulgarian footballer who was born on February 20, 1976 in Septemvri, Bulgaria. Zdravko Lasarov (Bulgarian: Zdravko Lezarov; born February 20, 1976 in Bulgaria) is a retired professional footballer from Bulgaria who is currently the manager of Vihren Sandanski.

Zdravko signed with Slavia Sofia in July 2007. He signed with Shinnik Yaroslavl in December 2007 after spending half a year with Slavia, where he played in 11 games and scored 8 goals. He played for CSKA Sofia again in 2008, his second return to Bulgaria. After scoring 2 goals in 15 matches, he was forced to retire for six months after sustaining an injury during the match against Litex Lovech. After meeting with club bosses, he ended his contract with CSKA immediately on 11 June 2009.

In 2016–17 season, Lazarov was the playing assistant manager of Bulgarian Third League side Hebar Pazardzhik.

Lazarov signed a two-year contract with Cherno more Varna on the 15th of June 2009. Lazarov took number 11, previously worn by Georgi Kakalov. Lazarov began his professional career in Septemvri, where he was a member of the local FC Locomotiv Septemvri team. Lazarov then played for Chardafon Gabrovo, now FC Yantra. He signed with the grand CSKA Sofia in Bulgaria after two excellent seasons. His performance was not impressive and he was sold to Minyor Penik. Lazarov signed a contract with Levski Sofia, the other grand bulgarian. He played for Slavia Sofia between 1999 and 2001. He then joined the Turkish Turkcell Super League, where he played in three teams: Gaziantepspor, Kayseri Erciyesspor and Kocaelispor. He played in 202 matches in Turkey and scored 76 goals.

Lazarov was capped 31 time for the Bulgarian national soccer team. He also scored 3 times. Lazarov was a participant in the 2004 UEFA European Championship.

In January 2010, Lazarov completed his move to Lokomotiv Plovdiv on a free transfer. He made his league debut for Lokomotiv on 27 February in a 3–2 away loss against CSKA Sofia, scoring a two penalties. Lazarov was promoted to club captain at the start of the 2010–11 season. During the entire season, he scored 14 goals in the league. On 15 March 2012, Lazarov scored the winning goal against Levski Sofia (in the extra time) in a 1/4 final match of the Bulgarian Cup. On 7 August 2012, his contract was terminated.
