She was awarded two Russian championship titles in women’s road racing (2005 and 2008), and represented Russia at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Martisova is currently racing for the Forno d’Asolo Colavita pro-cycling team in Italy’s 2013 season.
Martisova signed an exclusive one-year contract with the BePink women’s cycling team in Italy, after quitting Gauss.
Martisova was unable to chase the four leading riders on the final lap of the UCI Road World Championships 2011. She sprinted towards the finish line in 5:21:28 and narrowly missed the podium.

- She was notably noted for her success in the women’s road race at 2005 Russian Championships. Her strong results earned her a spot on the P.M.B. Fenix Cycling Team in Italy under an exclusive three-year contract, and eventually added another title in her career hardware from the seventh stage of Tour De L’Aude Cycliste Feminin in Languedoc-Roussillon, France. Martisova, who had just finished her contract with Fenix, transferred to Gauss RDZ Ormu pro cycling team, in 2008, where she stayed for four seasons. She also won her title back at the Russian Championships in the same category that year.
Martisova was selected for the Russian team in the women’s race on the road at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing after she received one of three UCI World Cup berths. In a tough race against sixty-five other cyclists, Martisova finished in 12th place, which was a record-breaking result. She also placed more than 21 seconds behind Olympic champion Nicole Cooke from Great Britain.
