Star Factory’s second season began in March 2003. Maxim Fadeev (producer of the project) had previously crossed Yulia’s path when she was a back-vocalist for Linda’s 1996 album Vorona (Crow). Yulia was unable to participate in the contest and was eliminated in the semi finals. Despite this, her songs became hits including “Korabli”, “Vysoko”, and “Prosti za lyubov” (Sorry for Loving You). Yulia returned to host the show later.
