Yukinojo Mori is one of the most popular and richest Japanese lyricist who was born on January 14, 1954 in Tokyo, Japan. Before dropping out, Mori studied at Sophia University’s English Department. He then made his professional songwriting debut in 1975. In 1977, Mori released his first album Yukinojo Kenzan (Xue Zhi Cheng Jian Kan ).
Hisashi Imai was featured on many tracks of the 1997 album Tenshi no Ita Wakusei, which Mori released (Tian Shi NoitaHuoXing ). The album was followed in 1999 by Poetic Evolution, which featured Teru, Takuro and Hisashi from Glay, Takuya (Judy and Mary), and Kyoji Yamamoto from Bow Wow. Words of Yukinojo (Words of Xue Zhi Cheng ), an album that pays tribute to Mori, was released in 2006. It contains covers of songs Mori composed by artists like Bonnie Pink and Pornograffitti.
Mori wrote the script for the 2012 rock opera Psychedelic Pain after being convinced to do so by his friend Tomoyasu Hotei, who served as musical director.

Twenty years later, Mori was hired by hide of X Japan to write the lyrics to “Eyes Love You”, a song he wrote with Hisashi Imai from Buck-Tick. They recorded the track for the 2013 hide tribute album Tribute VII-Rock Spirits-.
The songwriter returned to Dragon Ball in 2009 when he wrote “Kuu•Zen•Zetsu•Go” as the opening theme for Dragon Ball Kai. For 2015’s Fukkatsu no F film, he wrote lyrics inspired by the series for its theme song “Z no Chikai”. That year he also penned “Chōzetsu☆Dynamic!” by Kazuya Yoshii of The Yellow Monkey, which is the first opening theme song of Dragon Ball Super. Mori also wrote the lyrics to its second opening theme, 2017’s “Genkai Toppa × Survivor”, a rock song by enka singer Kiyoshi Hikawa with music composed by Takafumi Iwasaki.
