As a coach, Yue guided the Chinese wheelchair curling team to a gold medal at the 2018 Winter Paralympics.
The team won another medal at the 2005 Pacific Championships. They also took home another gold at the 2006 Pacific Juniors. The team was disqualified from the 2006 tournament due to their poor performance at the 2005 World Juniors. The team was still participating in the 2006 Ford World Women’s Curling Championship, where it finished 5th. Yue was playing second for the team at that point.

Yue participated in her first international competition at the 2002 Pacific Curling Championships. Yue, who had only curled for two year, skipped the Chinese team. The tournament ended with a record of 0-8.
Yue participated in the 2004 Pacific Championships as the team’s second. The team won a silver medal, which was a better performance. She was then promoted to the third spot on the team and won the 2005 Pacific Junior Curling Championships. They finished 9th at 2005 World Junior Championships, but they improved their record at 2005 World Women’s Curling Championships where they placed 7th.
The team won gold at the 2008 Pacific Curling Championships and at the 2009 Winter Universiade and they became World Champions at the 2009 Mount Titlis World Women’s Curling Championship. At the 2010 Winter Olympics Yue and her teammates won the bronze medal, the first ever Olympic medal in curling for China.
