He made his professional wrestling debut against Tetsuya Naido on July 6, 2008. He did not compete in the 2008 G1 Climax but he did participate in many G1 Climax shows. Yoshihashi didn’t win any NJPW wins in 2008. This is not unusual for rookies in this promotion. On November 3, Yoshihashi made his Riki Pro debut and teamed up Kazuchika Okada with Yusaku Obata and Kuniyoshi Waida. Yoshihashi, Hiroshi Takaashi, and Yuji Nagata won their first NJPW match, defeating Hirooki Goto, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Kazuchika Okada. He lost nearly all his matches in 2009 after this. Yoshihashi and Koji Kanemoto teamed up against Apollo 55, the then-IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. In 2010, Yoshihashi began winning many more matches for NJPW. Liger lost against Davey Richards, and La Sombra was his last match in NJPW.
Yoshihashi joined Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre as a way of gaining more experience and being exposed to different types of wrestling. His first match was a six man two out of three fall match with La Ola Amarilla (“The Yellow Wave”), Okumura, Taichi, and El Hijo del Fantasma. He lost to Maximo, La Mascara and La Mascara. Yoshihashi continued to wrestle in six-man matches in two out of three fall matches throughout 2010 and 2011. He rarely took part in any other type of match. In 2010 and 2011, he lost the majority of his matches in CMLL. Yoshihashi began a storyline in Mexico with CMLL mainstay Rush. It started in six-man tag teams matches. Then it escalated to the point that the two agreed to bet their hairs in a Lucha de Apuestas (“Bet Match”) which is in Mexico more important than Championship matches. Rush defeated Yoshihashi on August 1, 2011 and forced him to shave his hair as per the agreement.
On January 4, 2017, at Wrestle Kingdom 11 in Tokyo Dome, Yoshi-Hashi, Jado and Will Ospreay, participated in the first NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship gauntlet match representing Chaos, however, the team was unsuccessful in winning the title after Jado was pinned by Yujiro Takahashi.
