Eugene joined Maxim Gorky Literature Institute in Moscow (Correspondence Department), in 1992. One of his teachers, Yuri Kyznecov, was a writer. Eugene was granted entry to “The Union of Russia’s Writers” 1998. He also defended two medical theses at the same time.
