Yasuhito Namekawa, also known as Hua Chuan Kang Ren, Namekawa Yasuhito), is a Japanese mixed martial artist who competes at the light heavyweight division. He was born October 27, 1974. Namekawa was the first Mixed martial artist to make his debut on Fighting Network Rings’ in 1998. From 1998, when Rings introduced King of King Rules, he fought in mostly Shoot fighting fights. Namekawa fought for Pride FC, Deep FC, and Rings throughout his career. Namekawa’s last fight was in 2008. He had a ten-year professional mixed martial arts career.
Namekawa made his Deep debut on March 30, 2002 at Deep – 4th Impact. Namekawa defeated Daisuke Watanabe in a majority decision. His next two fights at Deep were won by him with submission wins over Makoto Ishikawa and Yuki Itshikawa. Wallid Ismail defeated him by decision at Inoki BOm-BaYe 2002 on December 31st 2002. Namekawa finished the year with a record of 3-1 with Deep. Namekawa began 2003 at Deep – 8th Impact with a draw against Osami Shibuya. Namekawa didn’t fight again until January 22, 2004, Yusuke Imagura was defeated by Namekawa via TKO at Deep – 13th Impact.
On February 15, 2004, Namekawa made his Pride FC debut with a submission win over Egidijus Valavicius at Pride Bushido 2. He returned to Pride on October 14, 2004, he was defeated by Maurício Rua.
In his second outing in the Deep organisation, Namekawa beat Kenji Akiyama by TKO, Jong Hyuk Moon by submission and lost to Ryuta Sakurai. He also drew with Jeong Ho Lee on December 2, 2005. On April 11, 2006, Namekawa was defeated by Cyrille Diabate by KO at Deep – 24 Impact.
2001 would be a complete contrast to previous years, as Namekawa won in four of five fights. He beat Takashi Sonoda and Wataru Imamura as well as Masutatsu Yano, Masutatsu Yano, and Dexter Casey all by submission. Namekawa was defeated by Egijus Valavicius in a TKO on October 20, 2001.

Namekawa was first for RINGS in 1998 when he faced Minoru Toyonaga. The bout ended in a draw. Then, he submitted Daniel Higgins and out pinned Ryuki Ueyama. Namekawa lost his first match against Bakouri Gorgitidze on October 11, 1998. He lost by submission. Namekawa was defeated by Masayuki Nause in round 1 at 4:50. Namekawa ended the year by drawing against Lee Hasdell, a British fighter. Namekawa fought Hasdell again on January 23, 1999. Hasdell was disqualified for an illegal punch. Namekawa won by decision. Namekawa won by decision on March 7, 1999. Hasdell won round 1 by KO in 5 minutes 55.
