Morin signed a training contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder on October 11, 2017. Morin was released on October 14th as part of the final preseason roster cuts. He then joined the Oklahoma City Blue, a team in the NBA G League. In 34 games, he averaged 5.6 points and 2.2% rebounds. After the end of the G League season, he signed for Le Mans Sarthe, the French LNB Pro A. He played in 12 games of ProA playoffs, scoring an average of 2.7 points and 1.8 boards per contest to win the French championship.

Morin averaged 7.5 points per game in 2015-16 for French second division team Denain before moving to STB Le Havre, a ProB side, for the 2016-17 season. He made 34 appearances that year for Le Havre, scoring 6.8 points and 7.4 rebounds. He was a part of the NBA Summer League 2017 with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Morin was born in Fort-de-France (capital of the French overseas French department of Martinique). He went through the youth ranks at Golden Lion Basketball in Saint-Joseph Martinique before joining the Pole Espoirs de Martinique. In 2008, he enrolled at INSEP (National Institute of Sport, Expertise, and Performance). He joined the LNB Pro A side Cholet Basket in 2012. He had a statistically outstanding season at Cholet, scoring 3.6 points per game and 1.9 rebounds in 31 games.
