Yanjaa is one of the most popular and richest Athlete who was born on December 26, 1993 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Yanjaa Wintersoul (born Mongolian Yanzhindulam), is a triple world-record-holding memory athlete from Mongolian-Sweden, public speaker and polyglot. She is one 22 international grandmasters in memory. In 2014, she rose to prominence in memory sport when she won the team gold medal and first place in names & faces at the World Memory Championships 2014. This was her 20th year of memory training.

She broke two world records in December 2017 at the 2017 World Memory Championships, Jakarta, Indonesia. She remembered 212 names and faces in just 15 minutes, and 354 random images within 5 minutes. Yanjaa also broke a third world record in August 2018 at the Korean Memory Championships 2018. She memorized 145 random words in just 5 minutes.

In September 2017 Yanjaa was featured as the “IKEA Human Catalogue 2018”, having memorized the entire catalogue in just a week before the launch of the new catalogue. The campaign was a success landing press conferences in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore and multiple appearances on the Steve Harvey show and other talk shows. In May 2018, the campaign was voted as people’s voice and the official jury’s Webby award for best social media ad campaign. In 2017, she began production for a documentary called Memory Games with Emmy Award-winning director Janet Tobias. The documentary premiered in New York in November 2018. An additional screening was scheduled because the premiere sold out. Memory Games was bought by Netflix and launched on June 19th, 2019. Yanjaa was featured in her second Netflix project on September 11, 2019. The Mind, Explained is a limited series narrated by Emma Stone in collaboration with Vox Media.

Yanjaa won the 2017 season finale of Chinese TV program The Brain. She defeated Yu Yipei, who was trying to memorize more synthesized images. She competed in the 2017 season of Talang, the Swedish version to Got Talent. Yanjaa was awarded the golden buzzer by Alexander Bard in the audition round. She quickly advanced to the semifinals after memorizing twenty names and faces within 90 seconds. She advanced to the semi-finals round, where she was able to memorize 30 digits in just 30 seconds. This helped her get fifth place.

This recognition was for her young achievements in memory sports.
