William Njoku Biography

William Njoku is one of the most popular and richest Basketball Player who was born on March 5, 1972 in Accra, Greater Accra Region, Ghana. William “Will” Njoku (born March 5 1972) is an Ghanaian-Canadian former professional basketball player, and a player on the Canada national team of men’s basketball.

After his retirement from professional basketball Njoku was involved in motivational and coaching. While he was in Toronto during the off-seasons for most of his playing career the current home is Moncton, New Brunswick. As the athletics director for Crandall University from the beginning of September 2007 to September 2010 before he resigned to concentrate the business of his motivational speaker firm, Will2Win.

In the absence of an NBA regularly scheduled roster, however, Njoku played professionally for the next 10 years with different clubs across Europe. He was forced to retire in 1999 because of an injury to his back that was chronic that was correctly diagnosed and treated successfully, which allowed him to return to professional football at 31 by the time of 2003. This is a largely all-inclusive list of clubs according to the year:

A 6-foot-9 1/2 ” forward who was born in the city of Accra in Ghana, Njoku immigrated to Canada at the age of four with parents Lawrence and Catherine. He played at Halifax West High School despite having to miss the majority of his senior season due to injuries. The Warriors were not able to make the finals of the provincial championship tournament in the year 1990. Will attended hometown Saint Mary’s University and during its junior year (1993) He was the winner of the Mike Moser Award as the Canadian Interuniversity Sports’ (CIAU) Most Excellent athlete. In his senior and junior seasons, the player was also named as a CIAU All-Canadian. Njoku was drafted in the second round of the 1994 NBA Draft with the 41st choice from the Indiana Pacers.
