Arthur Wesley Parsons (born September 6 in 1992) was an American professional baseball pitcher who is part of the Colorado Rockies organization. He has been a part of Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Atlanta Braves and the Rockies.

On the 19th of August, 2019 Parsons had been reclaimed from waivers of the Colorado Rockies. Parsons was assigned to the assignment on the 27th of November 2019. Parsons was awarded free agency on the 2nd of December in 2019, but was later signed minor league contract during the offseason.

Parsons was called for the big leagues in Atlanta on the 27th of June 2018. In 14 games, with 13 of them as an inning-starter in the Gwinnett organization Gwinnett prior to being called up Parsons had posted an overall record of 3-1 and an 2.83 ERA. Parsons was called back to his home in the International League without making a major league appearance. Parsons was called back with Gwinnett Braves on August 1st, to make his second call up during the season of 2018. Parsons was then optioned back to Gwinnett the next day. Parsons was given another promotion on August 7 and made his MLB debut just two days later, against the Washington Nationals. Parsons was added to his way onto the Braves’ Opening Day roster when they began the season of 2019. He pitched in relief of Sean Newcomb on April 1 2019 and pitched an game in the game against Chicago Cubs to earn his first major league win. On August 16, 2019, Parsons was designated for assignment.

After graduation from Clarksville High School in Clarksville, Tennessee, Parsons enrolled at Jackson State Community College. In his first 13 games as an freshman, he posted 7-3 record of wins-losses and an 4.31 earned run- adjusted (ERA) and struck out 60 times in 79/3 innings pitched. Following his freshman year Parsons played in the Thunder Bay Bordercats in the Northwoods League, a summer wooden bat league that was designed for the best college players. After being selected for his way to the Northwoods League’s All-Star match, Parsons signed with the Atlanta Braves as an undrafted free agent in 2013.
