Wes Goodman is one of the most popular and richest American Politician who was born on February 14, 1984 in Morrow County, Ohio, United States. Wesley Goodman (born February 14 1984) is an American Republican politician who was the Ohio State Representative for the 87th District of Ohio from 2016 until 2017 following the revelations about his numerous affairs with gay couples. His district was previously comprised of parts of the Crawford, Morrow and Wyandot counties, along with parts of Marion as well as Seneca counties.

On the 2nd of October 2016 State Rep. Jeffrey McClain stepped down prior to the expiration of his term. He took his place within the office of Ohio Governor John Kasich. Goodman ran for the position to succeed him. He was defeated during the Republican primary, was defeated by 41 percent of the vote. He was defeated by former state representative Steve Reinhard, who had been in the same office from 2001 until 2008. In the primary, he was not challenged in general elections. The term started on January 4, 2017.

On November 14, 2017, Goodman resigned his seat following alleged “inappropriate behavior” in his state office, later revealed as extramarital sexual activity with a man.

In 2015 the year 2015, he was accused of sexually assaulting a man of 18 years old. The allegations were disclosed by Tony Perkins, head of the Family Research Council, who confronted Goodman regarding the allegations and also referred to “similar incidents”. Perkins removed his support for politics however Goodman did not change his candidature for the Ohio legislature. He was elected too long later was elected. These events were not reported to the police , and were not made public until the time of his resignation.

Goodman was born in an agricultural family and first responders. He is from Cardington, Ohio. The 2006 graduation ceremony was at Ohio Wesleyan University, where he earned a degree in politics and public administration.

The Speaker of the Ohio House, a Republican, Cliff Rosenberger, described the incident as “inappropriate behavior related to his state office”.
