After taking a break from hockey Rasquinha completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad. Following the completion of his MBA and his MBA, Rasquinha became a member of Olympic Gold Quest in 2009 and is currently the CEO.
Along with Pullela Gopichand and Abhinav Bindra, he was a member of the PMO Task Force after the 2016 Rio Olympics that prepared India’s plans for the Olympic Games in 2020, 2024 and 2028. Their report was submitted to the PMO on 12 August 2017.
He made his debut for the senior international team as a midfielder in the month of May 2002, during an event called the Four Nation Tournament in Adelaide. After winning a silver medal in the 2002 Asian Games in Busan and silver medals in the Asia Cup in Kuala Lumpur as well as in the Afro-Asian Games in Hyderabad in 2003, he was a part of the Olympic team, which placed seventh in Athens during the 2004 Olympic Games. He was captain of in the Indian Hockey team for the first time in the bilateral series against Pakistan in 2004. He also served as Captain of the Premier Hockey League team Maratha Warriors and also was a player with Tata Sports, Air India as well as the Indian Oil Corporation, as in addition to playing in 180 international games. Rasquinha declared his resignation from hockey on the 15th of January 2008, aged 28 and decided to continue his studies.
