Viktoriya Yermolyeva (Ukrainian: Viktoriia Iermol’ieva , born on 2 November 1978 and also referred to by the names vkgoeswild or Vika) is an Ukrainian pianist. In her beginnings, she was a classical pianist and studied music, and was awarded numerous prizes. Then, she gained fame for her piano covers of popular metal and rock songs.
Since 2008, she’s been focusing her career on playing rock music, and has primarily focused on heavy metal cover songs by numerous metal bands of the past. Her YouTube videos have more than the 80 million viewers.
In 2016, Yermolyeva released an album that was a mix of covers and original compositions. It was funded via the crowdfunding platform PledgeMusic, and was entitled “Fan’s Edition”.
In the first classical stage in her professional career, she took home various piano competitions. These included 1st Prize in the “Filippo Trevisan” competition for piano Interpretation in Italy as well as the winning The Grachtenfestival 2005 Amsterdam, 1st Prize at the 35th International Competition “Vincenzo Bellini” in Italy 1st Prize in the 20th International Piano Competition “Citta di Marsala” 1st Prize at the International Piano Competition “Citta’ Di Trani” 1st Prize at the 4th Sigismund Thalberg International Competition as well as the Grand Prix at 9th Pierre Lantier International Music Competition in duet with V. Dmitriev (flute) in France.

Yermolyeva began playing piano at the age of four. After attending the Tchaikovsky Music Academy in Ukraine (2000) and finished her masters at the University of Music FRANZ LISZT in Weimar and also at The International Piano Academy “Incontri col Maestro” in Imola, Italy, with the famous pianist Lazar Berman. Further studies brought to Codarts Academy of Music and Modern Dance and the Rotterdam Conservatory, Netherlands.
The year 2003 was the time Yermolyeva studied jazz, and worked with Leonid Chizhik.
On 29 January 2011 she performed her first live rock concert in Reykjavík, Iceland (VIGGIE & VIKA: Live in Iceland) collaborating with drummer Brian Viglione.
