Victoria Wenonah Banks (born February 8 1973) is a Canadian musician and singer. Her debut self-produced album”When You Can Fly was released on the label of On Ramp/EMI on April 9, 2009. The CD garnered Banks an award nomination in the nomination for the 2010 Canadian Indie Award nomination and six nominations for the 2009 Canadian Country Music Awards (CCMAs) including Album of the Year Music Producer of the Year and The Year’s Single (“The The Wheel”) and songwriter of the year (“The The Wheel”) as well as Female Artist of the Year, and Rising Star and Rising Star, making Banks the highest-rated female artist in the year 2009. The album’s debut single “The Wheel,” reached the Top 20 on the Radio & Records Country Singles chart, and earned her a Canadian Radio Music Award nomination. Videos for “The Wheel” and “When You Can Fly” were given the airing on CMT Canada.

In May 2010, following having completed a tour in Canada, Banks penned the track City Of Dreams whilst traveling back to Nashville following the historic and devastating Nashville flood. Her song came to life in a video, when two weeks later, over 40 Nashville artists and musicians, from legendary voices to new faces, joined forces with a production/engineering team and film crew to record it as a flood relief song. The song is available as digital download. The participants and the facilities all provided their services, and all earnings from the song as well as the music video, City of Dream Artists to Tennessee Flood Relief will benefit the American Red Cross.
