She has released several albums in the now disbanded hip-hop group, Urban Xchange and Parking Lot Pimp and is more well-known by her stage name, Vandetta, (sometimes Miss Vandetta) on the Mediacorp Radio station 987fm.

In 2014, Fernandez released the album Use Me on the Groove Note record label that has also released albums of another Singapore singer, Jacintha Abisheganaden. Recorded in Los Angeles at the famous Ocean Way recording studio, Use Me consists of covers of songs by Curtis Mayfield, Bill Withers and Al Green, among others. Fernandez also performed at the Singapore leg of the St Jerome’s Laneway Festival, alongside James Blake, Syndicate’s Gema and The Observatory.
In 2015, Fernandez plans to release a new EP under her Vandetta moniker.
The year 2005 was the time that Fernandez graduated from her degree at the prestigious Institute of Mass Communication and was scouted by 987fm’s Mediacorp Radio to become a presenter/producer. Over the course of four years Fernandez hosted numerous shows, such as 987Stripped. She also co-hosted the morning drive-time show alongside former 987fm DJs, Daniel Ong, Mister Young and, later, Divian Nair. The year 2010 was the time she resigned from 987fm of Mediacorp Radio to go back to full-time music.

The year 2000 was when Fernandez got a request from producer and rapper Terry Lee, to join the group later called Urban Xchange. Lee was the one who started the group to be a part of an advertisement for Coca-Cola. The group also includes Munir Alsagoff Trisno Ishak Firdaus Bahri Michaela Therese Humaa as well as Kimberly Olsen. Urban Xchange was the frontman of Coca-Cola’s “Life Tastes Good” campaign and released two albums following signing with Universal Music Singapore and Malaysia. After the highly-publicized campaign, the group only had only a small amount of results in the region, making a contribution to “When I Grow Up I Wanna Be Like Jackie Chan” to the Asian version of the Rush Hour 2 soundtrack, which was featured on a remix version of Brian McKnight’s “When You Wanna Come” on the Asian Repack of Superhero as well as performing with American pop artist Stacie Orrico, as well as Malaysian rappers, Too Phat, at the 2003 MTV Asia Music Awards.
In the year 2004, Urban Xchange regrouped as Parking Lot Pimp and signed with EMI Music Southeast Asia who released their debut album entitled Welcome to Our Frequency. After one time, Fernandez and Munir Alsagoff, and Trisno Ishak, resigned from Parking Lot Pimp.
At the end of 2010, Fernandez became part of audio-visual collective, Syndicate, performing with veteran hip-hop producer/DJ, Kiat, at the opening day of the infamous Gilles Peterson Worldwide Festival 2011 in Sete, France. In September that same year, she performed with veteran producer Jason Tan at the Singapore leg of the Worldwide Festival. The duo, known as Octover, released their album on the Syndicate imprint in January 2013.
