Turner Battle (born January 11 1983) is an American former basketball point guard of the University at Buffalo Bulls men’s basketball team from 2001 until 2005. Battle is widely credited with facilitating the revival of the Bulls basketball team for men which was able to go from 523 during his sophomore year to a 23-win season in his senior year. Battle is working as an assistant coach at the Alabama-Birmingham University men’s basketball team.

Battle worked as an assistant coach for Sweet Home High School in the Buffalo suburb of Amherst during the 2006-2007 season. On July 5 2007 Battle was promoted to the assistant coach at his old school.

Battle was hired by UAB on September 23, 2014 as an assistant coach under Jerod Haase.

Following his college professional career Battle was signed by BC Kalev/Cramo which was a first division team from Estonia after which he briefly played for an initial division squad in France. Battle later signed with the Fort Worth Flyers of the NBADL. The 1st of February of the 1st of February, Battle went back to Buffalo to play for Buffalo Rapids.
