Troy Brohawn (born January 14 1973) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the Arizona Diamondbacks, San Francisco Giants as well as the Los Angeles Dodgers between 2001 to 2003.

Brohawn made his debut in the major leagues at Arizona in 2001. He was awarded an World Series ring with the 2001 Diamondbacks. In his regular-season season, the pitcher put up 49.1 innings over 59 games with an 4.93 ERA. He appeared in one postseason game in which he struck out in the ninth inning of Game 6 against New York Yankees in the ninth game six of 2001’s World Series, a 15-2 Diamondbacks victory that tied the game at three games each. In the one inning of Brohawn’s work, he gave up only one hit and zero runs to relieve the Baseball Hall of Famer Randy Johnson, and struck out Clay Bellinger for the game’s final out.

He was the head coach for the Cambridge-South Dorchester High baseball team, his alma mater. From 2009 to 2011 he worked as a gym and health teacher.

In 2010, he married Stephanie Abt and together they raised three children.

Following the 2001 season, Brohawn was an unrestricted free agent in San Francisco, and appeared in 11 games for the Giants in 2002. Brohawn signed with the Dodgers prior to the 2003 season and played in 12 games and posted an 3.86 ERA in 2003, his final major league season. Problems with his arm hampered his career, resulting in his retirement in the year 2004.

An ancestor of Cambridge, Maryland, Brohawn graduated from Cambridge-South Dorchester High School in 1991 and subsequently spent an entire three-year period at the University of Nebraska, where he played in the NCAA baseball tournament with the Cornhuskers. The Cornhuskers named him First Team All- American in 1993 with a record of 13-0 that included nine games played completely and breaking the school record by registering more than 123 strikeouts during 111.1 innings. Alongside his impressive work on the mound, Brohawn batted .329 with three RBIs and three homers at first base. Following the 1993 season, Brohawn played in the collegiate summer league for the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He was chosen for the San Francisco Giants in the 4th round of the 1994 MLB Draft.

Brohawn was a part of the 1994 and 1995 seasons in the Class A San Jose Giants, and in 1998, he was promoted to the Giants Triple-A affiliate Fresno Grizzlies. The Giants sold Brohawn with the Arizona Diamondbacks after the 1998 season.

In 2008, Brohawn was inducted into the Eastern Shore League Baseball Hall of Fame.
