As for Asia, Gamba also won the title of champions in the 2008 AFC Champions League and the 3rd position in the 2008. Club World Cup. He was named a player with 26 caps and netted three goal for Japan’s national team. Japanese nation’s national side between the years 2000 between 2000 and 2002. He played in three games during the 2002 World Cup.
