Thomas Dale Brookens (born August 10 1953) is an American professional baseball third baseman. He was a player with the Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees and the Cleveland Indians of the Major League Baseball (MLB). Brookens was part of the Tigers coaching staff from 2009 until 2013, where he was the first base coach and then the third-base coach. Brookens was succeeded as the third base coach in the season 2014 with Dave Clark.
