It featured Hadoke as himself narrating, with guest appearances from Doctor Who actors Colin Baker and Louise Jameson, plus comedian Alfie Joey and Early Doors actor James Quinn as The Voice Of The BBC. It received a five star review from SFX magazine and was nominated as Best Drama in the 2008 Sony Awards.
In 2007 it continued to tour, visiting Bath, Glasgow, Salford, Hemel Hempstead before returning to the Edinburgh Fringe for one week only.

Toby Hadoke (born 2 January 1974) is a famous English actor stand-up comedian, writer, and actor. He is well-known for his performances in his Manchester comedian circuit where he appears frequently. He is the director of his own XS Malarkey comedy club, and is involved in many comedy shows across the region. His humor is often current and/or the political.
Hadoke is the manager of The XS Malarkey Comedy Club in Manchester. The club was founded around 1997 in Scruffy Murphys, Fallowfield (where the show was originally called Murphy’s Malarkey) and then moved (in 2001) across into the same road and becoming Bar XS (renamed Remedy in 2008). XS Malarkey is currently located in The Bread Shed, behind the Flour and Flagon on Grosvenor Street.
