Thorsten Flinck (born 17 April 1961 in Solna, Sweden), is a Swedish actor and director as well as a musician. He is best known for his roles as villains and psychopaths and for his outrageous character on stage as well as in the real world. Between the years of 1986 and 2002, Flinck played for The Royal Dramatic Theatre.

His first role on television was on Peters Baby, a TV show Peters Baby 1978 and his first directed work included Fordringsagare which aired in the year 1989. In 1991, he was the director of the television series Goltuppen that was written by Leif Persson. Together with Pernilla and Pernilla and Pernilla Wahlgren, he hosted SVT’s festive Christmas show Morgonstjarnan in 1985. Thorsten Flinck released, with Flincka Fingrars his debut album Vildvuxna rosor (“Wild roses”) in 2005 featuring covers of five songs by Björn Afzelius, a cover of Lena Philipsson’s “Dansa i neon”, a cover of Nationalteatern’s “Rövarkungens ö”, and a Swedish version of “Where the Wild Roses Grow”, originally by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Kylie Minogue. Totta Näslund, Ola Salo, and Monica Törnell provided guest vocals on the album. “Min vackre son” (“My Handsome Son”) was released as a single. Thorsten also fronted for the blues artist and progressive rock icon Totta Näslund.

Thorsten Flinck began his involvement in theater in 1977. He was awarded his school, the Swedish National Academy of Mime and Acting (Teaterhogskolan) in 1984. In the theater, he was employed for the Dramaten between the years 1986 to 2002, both as an actor and director. He was most well-known for his performance in the show Herr Puntila in 1997, Lang dags Fard, which he performed in 1998, and Den goda Manniskan i Sezuan which he performed in the year 1998. He was also a part of Misantropen which was staged in 1995. Tant Blomma from 1993, and also Romeo and Julia in 1991. At the Uppsala City Theatre he played the lead role in Strindberg’s”play Gustav III.
