Thomas Verheydt is one of the most popular and richest Dutch footballer who was born on January 24, 1992 in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands. Thomas Verheydt (born 24 January 1992) is a Dutch professional footballer, who plays as forward at Almere City FC.

On the 5th of August, 2015, Verheydt was signed on to Eerste Divisie side MVV Maastricht after a stellar record of the two clubs Jodan Boys as well as IJsselmeervogels as part of the Topklasse. On the 6th of November, Verheydt scored on his MVV Maastricht debut in their victory 1-0 against Jong Ajax, coming on in the 57th minute in place of Lucia Polizzi, scoring within the 90th minute. After his debut season with the Eerste Divisie, Verheydt struggled to get used to the new system and only made 12 starts throughout the season, scoring just four times. In his second season with MVV Maastricht, Verheydt netted thirteen times across every competition, which included eleven league goals as well as one during the KNVB Cup and Eerste Divisie play-offs.

On 16 July 2018, following a year in England, Verheydt returned to the Netherlands to join Go Ahead Eagles on a two-year deal.

Almere City FC announced on 18 July 2019, that Verheydt had joined the club on a two-year contract.

After a successful debut season at IJsselmeervogels scoring 13 league goals over a span of twenty-seven games, Verheydt registered his first goal of the 2014-15 season in the team’s draw at 2-2 with HSV Hoek.

He was raised to a family in The Hague and after youth stints in the clubs of Wilhelmus, Feyenoord and ADO Den Haag Verheydt made the move to Topklasse club Jodan Boys in 2012, making his debut in their 2-1 victory against IJsselmeervogels during which Verheydt scored at the end of 39 minutes. One week later, Verheydt continued his impressive performance with a goal in Jodan Boys winning 5-3 away to Noordwijk. In October 2012, Verheydt was injured for a prolonged period of time that kept him out until the month of April. In the final stretch of the 2012-13 season, Verheydt was averaging 15 league games, scoring seven times.

After a successful campaign with Jodan Boys, Verheydt opted to join the Topklasse club IJsselmeervogels on July 13, 2013. On August 24, the 24th of August Verheydt began his first game for IJsselmeervogels in their draw 0-0 against Lisse as he replaced Nabil El Gourari at the end of 56 minutes. One month later, Verheydt registered his first goal for the club in IJsselmeervogels draw 1-1 at home against HHC Hardenberg and scored the hosts’ equalizer within the final minute of the match. After scoring this goal, Verheydt went onto net four times more during October, during their wins against Ter Leede and Excelsior Maassluis. On December 14, 2013 Verheydt got his 10th League goal for the year in IJsselmeervogels game against Lisse.

On 6 July 2017, Verheydt opted to join English club Crawley Town on a three- year deal. On 5 August 2017, Verheydt made his Crawley Town debut during their 3–1 home defeat against Port Vale, featuring for the entire 90 minutes.
