In 1968, his parents immigrated to Slovakia and moved to Canada where his siblings Michaela along with his brother Patrick had their births. In 1975, they emigrated into The Netherlands where his two brothers Alan as well as Philip was born. The family lived on the border between Germany so he was able to learn different languages like Dutch, German, English and Slovak from a very early age. Thomas is one of the youngest children of five children. As he got older and began singing in choirs at church and took classes in drums, piano and guitar, as well as saxophone and guitar singing and dancing.
