Tezdzhan Naimova (Bulgarian: Tezdzhan Naimova ; initial name also rendered by Tezzhan, Tezzhan or Tezcan born on 1 May 1987) is a Bulgarian sprinter who is of Turkish descent. She is a specialist in the 60 100, 100 and 200 meters.

In 2008, the season went less successful, with season’s highests at 11.43 as well as 23.44 seconds, respectively. In 2008, at the Summer Olympics held in Beijing she was only competing in the 100m race. In her initial round heat, she finished fifth with the time of 11.70 but this did not qualify her into the second round. In 2009, it was revealed that Naimova received a two-year suspension from competing by the Bulgarian Athletic Federation, after the body concluded that she had manipulated outcomes of her out-of-competition IAAF urine test that was conducted on 28 June 2008. Any results obtained following this date will be disqualified, including Olympic Games participation.

In the indoor season of 2007, she ran the 60m at 7.13 seconds during February. This was a world record that time. The time she ran that year was only beaten by Kim Gevaert, who won the 2007 European Athletics Indoor Championships in 7.10 seconds. Naimova was 5th in that same event. In the summer, she took part at the 200 and 100 metres in the 2007 World Championships. She was able to make it to the semi-finals but ended fifth in both races only one spot away from being in the final race. She reduced her personal bests by 11.04 seconds for the 100m which she achieved on July 1st in Plovdiv as well as 22.43 seconds for the 200m which she achieved at the end of June in Sofia.

The girl was raised to Parvomay with Turkish origin, Naimova took up athletics at the age of 10, and was initially taught by Tanyo Tanev However, she was later transferred to the former triple jumper Stoyko Tsonov whom she has worked with since she was in seventh grade. Naimova was a participant in the 200-meter race during the 2004 World Junior Championships, but was eliminated in the semi-finals.

She tested positive for the banned steroid drostanolone right after winning the 60 metres event at the 2013 European Athletics Indoor Championships held in Gothenburg in March. In September 2013, she was officially stripped of the 60m title and banned for life from athletics. Ukraine’s Mariya Ryemyen, who came second in the Gothenburg final, was declared the gold medalist of the 60m event, with France’s Myriam Soumaré taking the silver medal and Bulgaria’s Ivet Lalova the bronze.
