He was a participant for Israel in the 2016 Summer Olympics in the marathon and placed at 121st place with an average time of 2:30.30. In the Florence Marathon in Italy in November of 2019 He ran his personal best , with an official time of 2:13 minutes.

The year 2015 was the first time he ran his Berlin Marathon, his second race in a competitive format with an average time of 2:15:29, and was placed 25th. It was the third best all-time performance of an Israeli marathoner, and was not too far in comparison to the Israeli record of 2:14:21 established by Olympian Ayele Seteng. Based on his performance, Moogas qualified to represent Israel in the 2016 Summer Olympics.
